A fairly poor interview process, overall. Originally contacted by a recruiter via phone call. After the initial screening interview, nearly all communication was via txt message despite repeated requests to move to email. Additionally, the recruiter repeatedly ignored requests to schedule follow on interviews and would instead call unannounced and conference in individuals. The final interview with the technical director and team lead was scheduled but was not substantial and they were not able to answer several questions related to program growth and vision. An offer was promised via txt message by the recruiter but was continually delayed due to both detailed/unprofessional personal issue and issues related to colleagues (the recruiter expressed unprofessional opinions around how others were drafting the offer on the back end). The received offer was below my discussed salary range.
