Lyft has a unique but thoughtful interview process and I think they are truly looking for employees who are capable of representing the company values with their own unique voice. I interviewed in Nashville for a customer experience associate role. It started with a short phone interview, followed by an initial interview at their offices. The in office interview is an interesting experience as they brought in multiple candidates and everyone met together first before being separated into 3 short individual interviews. The questions were not quite traditional but very conversational leaning toward personal interests and behavioral qualities. After the group session I was asked back for a second in person interview where I met briefly with two different team leaders for more traditional positional interview questions. I also did a short phone exercise or scenario fielding mock customer calls and really it seemed they were looking for composure and comfortability. Overall I would say the interview process was brief but to the point and very open and honest. They genuinely seem to value the people they are taking the time to meet with and that made me comfortable with the unique process and added value to the experience.

The hiring process was pretty smooth. I initially applied in may and was given a job offer the next month. I appreciated everyone I spoke with. The hiring team was warm and inviting. I had three rounds of interviews.

It's 3 part where you're asked to give examples of how you've handled difficult situations. What customer service means to you. Why are you interested in this role and why do you think you'd be a good fit for it.

Entrevista
Once they email you saying they would like to interview you, you first send in a written response to an email from a driver and they review it and if they like how you responded then they emailed me a link and the time of the interview. Then when you go to the link you join the meeting and you get interviewed by 4 different people including a customer role play. And they also check your internet connection. They also make sure you have a desk, chair and a quiet office space in your home.
