Entrevista
1. Handed in CV with a cover letter (hand written) - explained why I want to work for Lush, linked to their ethics and values. Generally, introduce yourself.
2. Got a phone call offering a group interview (hear back within 2 weeks)
3. Group interview consisted of around 10 other interviewees. Interview process included icebreakers (truth or lie game), role plays such as demonstration on Lush products, dealing with certain work scenario e.g. customer complaints.
4. If successful, a trial shift will be offered - contacted via telephone.
5. A face to face interview will be given after the trial shift, manager asked general questions such as 'how do you think your trial shift went', 'what do you do currently', 'why do you want to work for Lush', and feedback will be given. Got offered the job right after the trial shift.
6. Manager asked the availability
It was a group interview, very unconventional, hands-on, and activity-based, teamwork. They expect you to know their company values and ethics, which will carry over to your role. It was very relaxed and they made me feel very comfortable and heard.

Was offered an interview and it was fairly casual - in the cafe, and it only lasted around 45 minutes. Pretty much immediately after I was offered a trial shift, and I went and it was kind of horrible because we didn’t know anything about the products, and it also wasn’t very busy so it felt like we were competing with each other to get a customer’s attention, only to not even be able to give them proper information and just have to guess. It was a bit embarrassing and we didn’t get paid either, but we got a free shower gel. I found out I got the job on the way home from the trial shift.

Onboarding session and then a practice shift which involved you sitting customers down and demonstrating products on them. Lasts around an hour, and it’s done in groups of trial shifts.
