Lumen uses an on-demand video interview service which you have to go through before your resume is considered. It’s a waste of time to go through this before even having a discussion with a recruiter about the team, role, and salary. It focused on behavioral interview questions which didn’t feel very tailored to the job. After the video, they make you do a couple of games - one was a memory game and one was a matching game. Again, a waste of time and it’s for the best that I didn’t move forward because I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed that kind of culture if that’s the first impression they give candidates.
