Lumen held a on-campus Hackathon. The first round was a aptitude/basic computer science subjects quiz. There was 30 questions , and to get qualified into the hackathon one has to score more than 75%. The candidates were shortlisted for the hackathon and a date was given and some criteria. On the day of hackathon problem statement was given( Developing a small working prototype was to be build) which was very much known to all. 10 Members team was formed, mentor was assigned for guidance, time alloted was 5 hours to complete. Top 5 teams to complete the project was selected. Members from other teams with very much potential and those who contributed to the project was short listed for the interview next day. Next day the interviewer asked details about the project. The winner of the hackathon were also given good prize.
