During the pandemic I went through the interview process for Lucid Motors. I was referred by a friend who was engaged with Lucid Motors. My experience wasn't good. Initially the lead liked the profile & was very impressed in a ~30mins phone call. He showed hope that we might not need a panel round & simply managerial round should be enough. Later panel interview was conducted & less experienced people took part. They asked questions to make me fail as they knew I am not an expert in those areas. Later I realized that lead brought his favorite from his prev company & my process was just a time pass. Also the recruiter was very slow & wouldn't ever return back in-time.
