Met with HR then the hiring manager. Overall I felt the experience was positive at the time. The hiring manager was very optimistic about my application. He went out of his way to assure me that I would be invited for the next steps. Over a month later and I had not heard anything. After receiving offers elsewhere, I followed up with HR on the status of my application. After speaking to the hiring manager, HR assured me that I was at the top of the candidate pool but to be patient. I turned down my other offers as they were not a good fit. Three weeks later I followed up again and was informed that the position had been filled. I understand that much of this experience is common business practice. However, I was disappointed in the manner in which they had assured me that I was going to hear from them. If they were honest I would have been much more understanding. I will not be applying to Lucid Motors again due to this experience.
