I applied in December and was called early January to interview a week later. I had a great interview and was actually told so. I was also told to apply for other positions to get my foot in the door "in case this doesn't work out." When I left my only question was why have me interview for a position I had no chance of getting. I followed the suggestion as soon as I came home and applied for other positions in that store. Sure enough I got called to interview for something else the very next day. I came and was told they would called me in two days. They didn't. It didn't take much for me to realize as an "equal opportunity affirmative action employer" I was used to satisfy their interview quota without any intention of hiring me for either position. I'm beyond upset.
