I submitted my CV and covering letter on an external job website. A few days later I got an email inviting me to an assessment day. There were 20-30 candidates there. There are 2 rounds: a morning round and afternoon round. They only take 5-6 people into the afternoon round to do a 1-to-1 interview. I didn't get past the morning round. • First 30 min: LoopUp presentation • Networking w/ other candidates (10-15 min) • Team gets split up randomly in to two groups. Both groups are given scenario of being stuck in an Brazilian rainforest. We had to pick seven out of twenty items to survive in a rain forest and explain why we pick them as a group (45-50 min) • Each candidate makes 2 minute sales pitch on any product with 10 minutes to prepare • Interviewer gives presentation on general feedback, tells us how to give a pitch the ‘right’ way and then gives us another 10 mins to prepare and do the pitch again • Lunch (30 min) • Interviewer informs us who they're bringing to the afternoon round. Everyone else leaves.
