      Entrevista

      The interview process began with a video screen with their VP of Operations, who apparently also acts as company recruiter since they are a small agency. I then moved on to a video interview with the hiring manager. Both were pleasant, typical interviews with typical questions for the role. From there, I was asked to complete an extensive project that included a full social content calendar, Instagram growth strategy, and paid media plan for one of their clients. It took me about 15 hours to complete over the course of a week, but I didn't mind because they were giving me very positive feedback thus far and it seemed like I was a final candidate. After this, the last step in the interview process was meeting with the founder. That conversation seemed to go well too. However, from there it was radio silence. No updates unless I poked them, and every time I was simply told that they needed a little more time and would get back to me soon. After following up three times over the course of three weeks, they finally confirmed that they decided to go in another direction. Obviously that is their prerogative, but what bothered me is that if I would not have continued prodding them, they would not have even had the courtesy to let me know. After I had gone through three rounds of interviews and spent hours putting together a massive deck for them. It felt incredibly dismissive and disrespectful of my time. Interview here with caution.
