The interview process at Logz was a very positive experience.
I had one on one interviews with all the key people I would interact with on a daily basis (from Marketing, Sales, and Product teams). Some meetings were in person and some were via video conference. I was extremely impressed with the people I met - very talented, but very humble and very focused on building a great company. After we mutually concluded there was a match of needs/interests, the team asked me to complete a small project at home over the next week. I had to create a data sheet and a short competitive comparison/battle card. Some people may groan at having to complete a project such as this, but I thought it was a very valuable experience for me and my decision process. Both projects gave me the chance to dig into the company's products in greater depth and I concluded from the experience that the company's products had some real advantages over the competitive products. I received some feedback on the project after it was complete and shortly after that I was asked to provide four references.
Overall I thought the process was efficient and effective. I had plenty of time to ask questions. They demonstrated a strong interest in making sure this was a good fit for me as well as a good fit for the company.
