I applied online. I was contacted by two recruiters to set up an initial interview the next day. I spoke to one of the recruiters the following week. The interview was about 20 minutes with him doing most of the talking about the position/requirements/expectations. I was asked to do a "brief" statement about my qualifications to submit to the hiring manager. This was in addition to the resume that he already had and a link to my portfolio which I thought was excessive.
