First call with recruiter was cancelled last minute because of a “recruiting convention.” The only availability to reschedule the call was over a week later on Friday evening. Very odd call - The recruiter did not know much about the role and did not ask questions about me. They talked about the company and when we got to portion of the conversation where I thought they would ask me questions or ask if I had any questions, he said they would like to schedule another call with the hiring manager. I get the email to schedule the next call with the hiring manager and the only availability is almost 2 weeks out. The day before the interview I get an email saying the call had been cancelled. I send a follow email asking why, no response. Next day I get an email saying the roll has been filled.
