Very friendly. The recruiters kept in touch throughout the interview process. They were flexible when I had to reschedule my onsite. I had 3 phone screens (recruiter, 2 Account Executives). Onsite consisted of a presentation and 3 in person interviews.

Me postulé a través de una agencia de empleos. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) en ene 2017

      Entrevista

The first interview was a phone interview with the Director of Sales Development. I was then contacted to set up another phone interview a Manager. After that, I was moved on to the on-site, which consisted of 4 one-on-one interviews, 30 minutes each, and a presentation, which I prepared in advance. I really enjoyed the office and everyone I talked to. I had spent a ton of time on the presentation, researching the topic I chose, getting a firm grasp of the technology as well as its applicability to LiveRamp, and creating a professional PowerPoint. The interviews and presentation went well in my view, but I was told a week later that I would not be moved on. The reason for this was that they were really convinced of my passion for the company and product, but not for the SDR role. This was disappointing to hear. I had really invested a lot of time into truly understanding LiveRamp and its product, and had taken a vacation day from work to interview on site. I would not have done that if I wasn't passionate about LiveRamp and its mission, nor if I felt the role wouldn't have been a great fit. I feel that they failed to realize that passion for a product and company would translate into a great SDR, rather than someone with a sales background who learns later on to appreciate the product. In the end, it was my lack of sales experience that cost me the role. I feel confident that I would have really added value to LiveRamp, and am disappointed I didn't get my shot.

      Entrevista

Three phone screens, each with increasing seniority, and then an onsite. I originally interviewed for a recruiting position, which they hired for before my onsite. So when I arrived, they said they would still consider me for another open recruiting position, or I could interview for a sales position on the marketing team. This fit much more into my interests, so I said sure. Everyone I interviewed with was very engaging, interested in learning more about me as well as being open to answering candidly about LiveRamp. Then there were 2 more phone screens after the on-site.
