The interview process was pretty ok with 2/3 members arriving early. The last member was still driving and parking while the interview process was happening. I answered the questions as honestly as I could and the other two members were delightful and so sweet. Finally the last member parked off and asked her first/last question mentioning that the position is based in Cape Town. This was not communicated with me prior to the interview and so I was taken back. After mentioning that I am from Johannesburg, she rudely cut the interview short saying: "Thank you but they are looking for local candidates urgently." She did not even consider if I would like to relocate or if there is a possibility I could make this work. So the interview was cut short but the other members looked embarrassed. I truly think I dodged a bullet working here.
