A comment was also made: “Don’t expect to travel just because this is a tour-related role,” which felt unnecessarily defensive since I never brought it up. That, along with the overall tone, suggested discomfort with younger applicants. Overall, the experience felt disjointed, dismissive, and misaligned with what was promised in the listing. Tip: If you don’t have experience, be prepared to be treated like a liability.
