I started speaking with a recruiter back on July 30th. I've had an interview every week since then. Week by week I started with the recruiter seeing it there was a fit, then there was 1 call with one person in facilities, another call with two women(executive assistants), an onsite visit with the facilities person, then another on site visit with the facilities persons boss and CAO, then I was ghosted....5 interviews. I called and asked for a follow up and was told they'd get back to me because they had the other interview with someone else as well the day after. It's now mid September and I haven't heard anything. Overall the communication is very very very slow, all good people for sure, I won't take anything from anyone on that front however, the decision making is very slow. Hopefully their communication on work projects aren't as slow as the interviewing process. Also, the facilities person did overshare a bit, on the final round of interviews he shared that there's another candidate and told me all about her, now sure we should all expect multiple candidates but that information about her being unemployed shouldn't have been shared. No offer, nor updated, the job is still posted but I’ve been ghosted.
