The interview process was straight-forward and moved along efficiently. The process involved a phone screen with HR, a skills assessment to verify attention to detail, a face to face interview with management, and finally a face to face interview with senior leadership. Everyone was friendly and welcoming during the whole interview process. As part of the application, they requested a salary range, which was not further discussed or used to determine the offer salary. They came in a significant amount below my specified range and we only willing to increase slightly, still well below the requested range. When attempting to negotiate and provide justification for a higher amount, my emails were met with short, almost condescending replies, which made it easier for me to walk away from the offer. While I understand my expectations may have been different than the budgeted amount for the position, it was frustrating to feel like my time was wasted as they could have shared the differences in range prior to multiple face to face interviews. Seemed like an interesting position for an entry level candidate, however the salary offer certainly does not meet the required qualifications. (PMP Certification and Experience)
