It was a group environment at first where we were taught some of the basic skills we would need for the job. We then practiced with each other while the interviewer watched. We were given a spelling test consisting of mostly real words but some nonsense words as well as a critical thinking assessment. We then got called into a separate room one by one in order to have our individual interviews.

There are 2 literacy exams and had a follow-up to meet with the center for a more formal interview asking about experience with education, tutoring, or any kind of childcare.
