The first stage of the interview was a general chat about my experience, background, and how my skills matched the role. After that, I moved on to the next stage, which was a take-home coding test in React where I had to add features to a small codebase. I didn’t get the role in the end, but I asked for feedback and was surprised to receive a detailed response over the phone. One of the engineers explained what I did well, what could have been better, and even shared examples of what other candidates had done. It was such a standout experience because no other company has taken the time to provide this level of feedback in my job search. It made the process feel much more worthwhile, and I think more companies should follow this approach—it’s incredibly helpful for candidates who want to improve and grow.

Office based interview Overall really nice bunch of people, looked like a great place to work. I got to the 5th stage which overall ended up probably being about 2 days worth of work. Sad to not get the offer, feedback was just that I didn't have enough tech experience which was a shame as I'd got through to the final stage!
