I received an immediate invitation for a phone interview after applying online, however the hiring manager missed the appointment. We rescheduled for the next day and again I was stood up. Frustrated, I reached out to the recruiter who kindly apologized and arranged a phone interview with another individual. The 30 minute appointment stretched for more than an hour with great dialog. Yet, less than a day later I was rejected. I am left to believe that I was never considered for the role, and was only granted the phone interview out of obligation. It was a complete waste of time and extremely frustrating to be treated with no consideration by the hiring manager.
