Had a call with the hiring manager who looks after operations for a different part of the world. Asked basic questions about thought process and day-to-day management. They’re looking for the “perfect” candidate which fits into their cookie cutter work style. Anything that falls slightly below that won’t get through. No point meeting with them since nothing is good enough for this small company which not much growth potential.
