Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Lidl (Washington, DC) en ene 2015
Entrevista
I was contacted by a recruiter and the process was mostly smooth. I made it through the phone screen, assessment, and video interview. I was flown to DC for the final interview and was told by a different recruiter how difficult my interviews would be as he simultaneously told a male candidate how easy his interviewers would go on him. The four men who interviewed me accused me of lying on my resume and not believing I was bilingual until I held a conversation with them. I have never encountered such unprofessional "professionals" in my life. They told me they thought I couldn't handle the position because of my inexperience, even though they had already reviewed all of that prior to me being brought out to DC. I wasn't asked normal interview questions and I was not asked any of the leadership questions they had me prep for, I honestly still don't know why they wanted me to interview in person when it seems they already made their decision. I was offered a lesser position in the far future when stores open up in the U.S. Needless to say, I'm not interested.

Phone interview initially with one manager, phone interview with 2 managers, final store walk with hiring manager. It was total one month process. It was transparent throughout and regular contact.
Very professional three step process that consisted of an assessment centre followed by two separate interviews with senior management. Once you have completed alot of research about the company and the retail environment that they operate in, then the interview process should not throw up too many surprises.

Confused, 1 interviewer had poor English, I was asked hardly any questions as the interviewers spent the whole time telling me what a great company Lidl is. Then Lidl forgot to actually offer me the job (I rang them a month later and a secretary said they thought I knew I had been successful). Also would not provide a contract until 1st day at work, meaning I had to resign from my employer and trust Lidl that I really had a job waiting for me.
