Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Lidl (Aberdeen, Escocia) en sep 2019
Entrevista
I applied online at the end of July and got a phone call at the end of August. I was asked the following questions:
"Why do you want to work for Lidl?"
"What experience could you apply to this role?"
"What is your availability?"
I was then asked when I would be available for an interview.
I had an interview a week later. I arrived 10 minutes early and was sat in their staff room until my interview time.
I was interviewed by the store manager and area manager. I was asked a few questions, like on my employment history, availability and relevant experience to the role I was applying for. I was also given a scenario question too. After that I was asked to go onto the shop floor and answer some questions on a checkboard I would take round with me. Basically questions like your first impressions of the store walking in, where are the busiest areas of the store and what department do you think gets the most sales.
I got a phone call two days after the interview offering me the job.
Very straightforward process.
One person interviewed me and asked a few questions.
Did not last more than an hour, if that.
I had one interview and then an offer was made.
Phone interview and then in person interview. Pretty quick and easy and doesn’t take long to hear back. Questions are pretty standard like ‘why Lidl?’ and ‘what’s your favourite item we sell’. Also a few scenario based questions.

Really nice manager and chill atmosphere. Didn't ask me any scenario based questions or any that I had to provide a "star" like paragraph; more focused on how prepared/ committed/ able you are to do a lot of work.
