I interviewed first with the VP of Marketing, then with the CEO. The process moved quickly to a contract and then a full-time offer. My hiring manager was very transparent and communicative throughout the process, which I appreciated a lot. Since they are building back up, the experience felt as much like pitching a vision for the role and outcomes as opposed to just demonstrating what I could offer. The CEO can come off as a little hard to read at times (particularly as he is very frank, even about his concerns, which I could see being disarming during an interview process if you're not used to that), but it's clear that he cares a lot about building a good team. Being on the other side now, it's obvious that it pays off. It's a really impressive team, and everyone is so kind, which you don't always find.
