Entrevista
This was an Assessment Centre near Luton. We were invited for two days. The first day was an ice-breaker where we introduced ourselves. Then we were given a presentation as an introduction to the company by more senior members of staff. Then we were given a tour of the ground floor of the office. Access is restricted in the building, hence the requirement for escort.
Then we were told to go to where we were staying overnight. It was a Holiday Inn, but pleasantly given the larger rooms. It was a smart casual evening, where we met current graduates and got to ask them any questions, and let them give their opinion on working conditions etc. The first day is not assessed.
The second say was the assessment. It consisted of a Group Exercise, a Technical Interview and an essay exercise.
For the group exercise we were given a planning and team building exercise to complete infront of our assessors.
For the technical interview, we were told to prepare a presentation in advance to present to our assessors. It was during the interview I was asked questions to elaborate further on what I was presenting to fill in their curiosities. Having completed my presentation we moved into their technical and competency questions.
The essay exercise involved a number of questions you had a choice of answering, and a number of sources to reference at your disposal.

Pregunta 1
The first set of questions made during the technical interview was mainly checking my familiarity with FPGAs, and my motivation towards working with them. This is probably the most important part of the interview.
The second set of questions were competency based questions. These are the type of questions in the format of "Tell me a time when you showed initiative/other competency".
