Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Leidos (Franconia, VA) en may 2016
Entrevista
GIS Analyst position that involved 4 month deployed rotations to theaters of war.
Was caught by surprise when I got a call from the hiring manager over 2 months after my initial application. I believe they needed to fill some new vacancies for this position. The phone conversation was very open, friendly, and relaxed. The interviewer invited me to an in person interview a few days later.
The interview itself was conducted by 3 people, lasted about an hour. They were all once again very friendly yet professional. First they explained the details of the job, the way the rotations work, and how they personally enjoyed it. The questions they asked were a mix of behavioral and technical questions. They were mainly trying to determine whether I was the right fit on a team level based on my demeanor and technical experience. Once it was over, they gave me a tour of their lab. They said I should expect a response from them in 2 weeks; instead I got an offer from them about 5 weeks later.
Overall, it was a fairly pleasant experience. It seemed that they were trying to sell the position to me as much as I was trying to sell myself.
