The interview process was a mixture of speedy responses and lulls. Whenever I was engaged with, it was informative and detailed. But the wait between dragged on and I wasn’t always informed as to why it was taking so long. Once I got all the way to the final stage, the process at that point was quite jarring. I met with a panel of interviewers and had little understanding of why I was meeting with those people and how they added to the bigger picture for the job. With that, I wasn’t sure how to approach each conversation. I ended up not getting the job and feedback shared with me was that “you’re a creative and this position may not be advantageous for you. The team has decided to pass.” That’s valid feedback - however, if I received at all any indication that the position wouldn’t call for creativity and instead tactical delivery, I would have changed my approach. However, I also know that sometimes it’s just not a vibe - and that’s okay too. Interview process was a mid vibe. P.s. I was informed by a former colleague to avoid the place as it is not organized and there’s a lot of chaos there… I guess I felt that even from the outside!
