I dropped my application off at Lefty's a little randomly. I pretty much left a resume everywhere in San Francisco. Never heard from them until two months later when the manager asked when I could start. I had no waitress experience, but that didn't seem too important. They were pretty desperate to have anyone there since it was nearly New Years. I stopped by the restaurant for an interview, but the manager was not there. However, the bartender must have told him I looked okay because the next time we spoke the job sounded pretty official. We set up a time for an interview, I came in, and the manager never showed. Lucky for me, however, it appeared I was already scheduled to work, and so I spent the time I should have been interviewing shadowing.
