The interview process was genuinely the best I’ve experienced. It was thoughtfully organised into three clear stages: an informative introduction from the recruitment team, a well-structured technical interview, and a competency-based discussion that felt both engaging and fair. Communication was excellent throughout, and everyone I spoke with was welcoming and supportive. A special mention goes to Andrew from the recruitment team, whose friendly approach and guidance made the whole experience even better. I left feeling valued, confident, and excited about the opportunity.

Short interview, Seems like could not be bothered as just after Christmas but before New Year, Asked one question not about the role or anything to do with my skills or experience, Lied on the feedback. Said that from the answers of my interview that it showed my lack of experience of.... How did they determine that from "Am I actively looking for a job?" The only question they asked since they said my skills and experience on my CV was excellent and clear? If they actually bothered to ask me questions, I could've provided multiple examples and my previous employers could back me up happily on the feedback issue. Clear they had someone in mind to fill the role and this was a check box exercise which I don't mind as every company does it at some point, It's the way they executed it that I find disgusting especially to say Leeds Building Society are supposed to value its customers and staff and won many awards for it. Aweful what they said with no justification from the interview and pretty damaging to my mental health. From what I was informed during the short interview process, I already had a clear idea what migration path the company should be undertaking and how to proceed. Glad I did not offer my thoughts. Not sure if the whole company is like that but keep clear from their IT department.
