It was long. It was over 4 months of a process. The company was bought out less than a year ago, and the corporate and bureaucratic feel is there. I was told that they really, really wanted me on the team, but would not hire me unless I moved there. So I moved from washington, and then they told me they changed the position to part time, but they wanted me to not get another job. They demanded exclusivity to keeping me part time. Thats where they lost me. After moving, and a four month process, I took a position with another company that was more understanding about me needing to pay my bills. It was disappointing and a waste of my energy.
