I had applied several times to this company. In 2012, i finally found another opening in which i immediately applied AND got a phonecall to setup an interview within 24 hour. The interview asked about my experience and background. the interview was non-threatening. I was interviewed by the dept supv. and the lab scheduler. There was a mini test. It seemed pretty easy for anyone who has true lab experience.
