This position wasn't with Korn Ferry, rather, it was for one of their clients they were recruiting. I just felt the need to call them out for their recruiters who are inconsiderate and /or unprofessional. I was cold contacted on LinkedIn for a high-level sales role covering The Northeast, US. He asked to have a phone call the same day and I spent 30 minutes going over my qualifications. It seemed as though it'd be a match and I might even have existing relationships with some of their target accounts. He sent me the job description and company overview and asked me to send over my resume (which matched everything he would have read on LinkedIn). Ghosted me!! I followed up 3 separate times and never heard anything back. Korn Ferry, I implore you to encourage your recruiters to not cold contact people on LinkedIn just to get their hopes up and ghost them on roles they would have never even known about!! It's so rude and disheartening.
