Interview with the RPO business - I have never had a more unpleasant experience. They called me for a manager position and fixed up an interview with an RPO customer. Interview was good and positive. Later on and after several follow ups and after playing hard to get the internal consultant tells me they don't see me fit as a manager and would I consider a lower position? Not just that would you also come work for us at the same pay that you're currently on ? I mean LOL! Why go through several rounds when you don't know where to fit individuals that YOU source ? To top it all, I got to also know that another person had a similar experience.
