Me postulé en persona. Acudí a una entrevista en Kohl's (Monroe, MI) en sep 2011
Entrevista
I applied in my local Kohls store in early fall one year, I did my application right in the store and got to personally hand it to a manager (which I suggest doing if possible). It took at least a week or two and I got a phone call to come in for an interview. When I got there I was taken into a room with two other applicants and there were two interviewers. We introduced ourselves and then they started to ask us questions. They asked a question and then had us answer it one by one. After that was done, we had a store tour and then a "scavenger hunt" around the store to find or see certain things in each department. After the interview was over, it took another couple weeks before I heard back (by phone call).

Pregunta 1
Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer and what was the outcome?
Short but still good experience to have for a beginner in interviewing. There are a lot of people to meet so that you can make your skills of speaking up to par.
Easy, over the phone and about 30 minutes long. The store manager asked questions about my background, what would I do if xyz happened, what I would do if a end cap was messy, how would I contribute to making the store look good.

What would you do if you encountered an upset customer?
A round table style, group interview process with the manager and other candidates. Afterwards, on the same day, they did the one on one interviews. After about a week later I received an offer, which I accepted.
