Applied and received a call back within a week. Spoke with a nice manager. Most questions were situational like what would one do if an employee was giving less than satisfactory customer service. Basic interview questions.

I applied online via the Kohl’s website and received an email to set up an interview the next day. I went to my interview where everything seemed to be going well. It was about a thirty minute interview but the interviewer honestly only asked me three questions. We then spoke about our retail experience and at the interview she said verbatim: “If it still works like it did when I got on boarded, you should be expecting an OFFER LETTER via email.” I left the interview confidently and anxiously waited for said email. A little over a week passed and nothing. I called to follow up via phone and through the Kohl’s Talent Acquisition form that’s available on their website and was informed by someone different that they were in the process of setting up a SECOND interview for me. Okay— I thought it was strange since they told me to expect an offer letter, but fine I can do another interview. Same day, the first interviewer called me a few hours later and said, “We are no longer hiring.” I ended up just hanging up on her— even if it is seen as unprofessional, so is wasting somebody’s time.
