Applied through Snagajob.com and received an email a few days later to interview. The interview consisted of a group of 8 in a room answering random questions from the manager. Pretty basic. The store manager was very nice and listened to everyone try to sell their talents. The next day I got an email to come to the 2nd interview. It was one on one with the store manager. He started asking me questions about previous positions where I had management experience. Long story short, this went from what I thought would be a seasonal cashier position to a supervisor position. I was thrilled and interviewed with one more member of the mgmt team. I have never made less than 14.00 an hour for as long as I can remember... I was hoping Kohl's would come in around the 12.00 range, which is way less than I usually make but figured I could still make it. Then the offer was made. I was offered $9.00 an hour to manage 20-40 employees!!! I was in shock. Needless to say, I tried to negotiate for more money and was told no way.
