1st round interview was Engineering Manager and HR Manager. 2nd round interview was another with the Engineering Manager, and then the rest of the management team. Very quick 5-10 minute interviews with each member.

I did a panel interview over the phone. They acted like they were interested. One manager said, “We need to find a position for you.” He said that he appreciated my experience. Then, they had changes in their management and decided not to move forward. About 30 days later they called the recruiter I was working with to say they wanted to reopen discussion; no follow-up after that. In the year since the interview, Klein Tools has continued to repost the same job. My impression was that they aren’t serious about finding a manufacturing engineer. I had a great impression of the company before I interviewed with them. Now, I’m just thinking I was lucky that they didn’t follow up...
