I applied online through the website. The interviewers were incredibly kind and patient. It was organized and succinct. First, I was contacted by HR, who did an initial screening on Zoom and interviewed me based on my skills and personality and who gave me an in-depth overview of the company. Then I was contacted by the hiring manager for a one on one video interview via Zoom where she gave me a more in-depth description of the position and what she was looking for. Then I moved on to the group Zoom interviews which was long - 30-45 minutes per person with 7 people. Very similar to if it could have been on site - however, because of the pandemic and lockdown, it wasn't possible. Then a couple weeks later, HR contacted me with an offer. They start at the highest salary so no negotiations there, but there was some wiggle room with regards to other monetary negotiations. All in all, from when I applied to when I completed negotiations, it took a month - give or take a week.

The process consisted of many 1-on-1 interviews. What I did not like was that I think this company interviewed me for multiple positions while telling me that I was really interviewing for a single position. I feel that there was a lot of bait-and-switch tactics going on and got unethical and micromanaging vibes from the hiring managers. Their interview process was an interrogation, and while the questions weren't difficult to answer, any time that I said I didn't have a very specific experience handling a very specific technology (even though I have extensive in that area with analogous technologies), they implied that my experience wasn't 'real' because I didn't use that preferred technology. Also, this was the only hiring manager that has kept their zoom camera off.
