Came in for a sit-down interview with the unit manager and educator. Asked the typical questions about what I was looking for, where I hope to be in 5-10, why Kish, how do I deal with conflict, service recovery, etc. Ended with a couple of critical thinking questions which did catch me off guard.

Phone call, phone interview, shadowing, references, & offer. The process was very vague and no one provided a time line or knowledge of expected steps in the process. I had to ask for information and the charge nurse did not know I was shadowing that day and neither did the nurses on staff. I walked into a very unprofessional environment.
