Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Kirk's Global Compass (San Antonio, TX) en jul 2016

      Entrevista

It was a mess. I understand wanting to take your time and find the right employees for your company, but this was all excessive. I applied for this position via ziprecruiter, and was sent an application and request for references, as well as a quiz to determine your strengths and weaknesses to complete before you were offered an interview. The first interview with them was a phone interview. This was scheduled late at night and candidates were told that this was because of the sheer quantity of people being interviewed. After the phone interview I was offered a second, in person interview to be done as a group. My group was me and 2 others being interviewed by about 5 employees. Questions were fairly typical and they asked many questions about your opinions of social media content and your background. After this, if moved to the next round, you were to complete a project and presentation for them. This was a heavy workload project and it was sent on a friday to be presented the following Tuesday, July 5. This was all to be done over the holiday weekend for a 15 minute presentation/question time. The project included creating a content calendar, multiple blog posts, and researching the industry and writing a report about their industry as a whole. The work was all done for their company, leading me and other applicants to believe the entire interview process was used as a brainstorm technique to get fresh ideas. After this we were promised we would know if we had gotten a position by 3:00 the following day. Instead of this, they sent an email at the end of the following business day that they wanted to do even more interviews, and would be contacting us to schedule additional phone interviews. Mine was scheduled for the following week. The day of this interview I instead received a call that Darlene Kirk was sick and was pushing the interviews off further and would call to reschedule in a few days, when they finally did call I declined to reschedule as I thought the process was excessive and rude and I did not want to work for a company that had such a disregard for someone's time and home/life balance. 3 interviews should have been plenty, especially after many gave up their holiday weekends solely to work on this project, with the promise of notification of a position the following day. For me the interview process was 37 days, and I declined to schedule further interviews or it would have been longer.
