Reached the final round after multiple interviews with the hiring manager, data science, creative, growth leadership, and product leadership. The interviewers themselves were generally thoughtful and professional, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet the team. However, the recruiting process felt disorganized, including role confusion and scheduling changes during the process. After investing significant time across several rounds, I ultimately received a generic rejection email at 5pm PST with no feedback. I understand companies need to make difficult hiring decisions and that not every candidate can be selected. My disappointment comes less from the outcome itself and more from the candidate experience. For a final-round candidate, a more transparent and personalized process would have left a much stronger impression.
