The amount of training is commensurate with your experience unless they are short staffed, in which it is an opportunity to show what your made of. Make yourself flexibly available and you'll start out making as much as any senior wait staff, provided you're experienced. This restaurant relies heavily on the strong, experience of workers who can perform better than most in their field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to improvise and remedy are crucial.
