someone recommended me to a faculty, who needed some fresh PhD to work on a project from a company and collaborate with the scientists in that company. My skills, experiences and background knowledge match this position very well. The professor made an appointment to interview me after he received my resume and the recommendation letters. The first interview was 1-1 phone screening followed by a panel interview. The interviews went through very well and an offer was made very soon. I accepted this offer.
