The interviewer joined the call 25 minutes late, during which I was already waiting. Once the conversation started, the interview was interrupted twice for personal matters, and then wrapped up early due to another scheduled meeting. I did my best to remain patient and understanding, as I know remote work can present unexpected challenges, but overall this gave a poor impression of professionalism. At the end, my application was declined on the basis of, between others, lacking experience in cross-functional agile teams — which was surprising, given I have over 10 years of daily collaboration across product, design, backend, and frontend in agile environments. This shows lack of commitment and attention during our conversation. I value respectful and professional processes, and unfortunately this experience did not reflect the standards I would expect from Kaizen Gaming

30% of the questions they asked were not related to front-end development, and their hiring process lacked a clear structure, focusing too much on algorithms that aren't relevant to the actual job. Despite solving the problems, there was no guarantee of a job offer for that seniority. They didn't respond for over a week, then told me I was a strong mid-level candidate instead of senior, and offered me less money than I'm currently making. It was quite disappointing, especially since the 2.5 hours spent on the interview were not compensated.
