Entrevista
Following are the Steps for Recruitment. ( Mechanical CAD Domain)
* Most of the hiring are done through internal references. Nevertheless the initial review of a resume is done by the recruitment HR for the domain.
* The shortlisted candidate is called to the company premises.
* Basically there are 2 levels of interview and a tool test / CAD test. This whole process may take around 4 to 6 hours.
* If the candidate passes Level one interview and CAD test he is eligible for Level 2 interview which is usually taken by a manager.
*After level 2 interview is cleared salary negotiations are done by the HR.
*The HR will then deliver the Offer letter by mail of may be collected personally.

*Sometimes the CAD test may be the most difficult part of the recruitment process. The CAD models are a bit complicated (mostly Casting or Sheetmetal). Sometimes there is just enough time to roughly complete the CAD model. But the approach to modelling is considered more important than the percentage of model completion because it shows the candidates understanding of the manufacturing process.
*There may be some tricky questions regarding usage of CAD tool which only a person with actual experience of the CAD tool can answer.
*Most of the questions are asked based on the resume of the candidate. Because the candidate can be easily trained in the CAD tool but the domain knowledge of the candidate is very important.
*In Mechanical CAD Domain in KPIT the main requirement are
1. Proficiency in Pro E Wildire 4.0
2. Knowledge or experience in usind PLM and PDM tools
3.Manufacturing and domain knowledge.
4. Communication skills.

Entrevista
There will be typically 4 levels of interview. After general screening by HR, The First round will be Technical, The second one will be Managerial. The Third round will be with the BU Head and then last round with HR for finalising.

Tool Test and technical round , but most of it depends on tool test if are not good with tool forget about your interview. most of questions where related to Jon description , salaries offered is average and company environment is good

Apti followed by technical and HR round. Test is easy but interview us moderate level. One have to wait for long time for the interview as management was too slow. HR round is just a formality.
