Interviewers were pleasant but it appears they were put off by a candidate (me) expressing the want to grow and transition within the company. I expressed this multiple times as I wanted to take the role as an opportunity into the tech scene. I was more than qualified for the position, but it was offered to a candidate with much less experience (I know this because I know them personally). Interviewers were also not appreciative of my time. I had to email an interviewer as they did not reach out to me with meeting details. I was not responded to until I reached out to the first interviewer. To top it off, I had to reach back out to them after over a week for followup on the decision.
