The company reached out to me for a role, asked me to share my details, and confirmed my availability for an interview. However, on the day of the interview, when I followed up for confirmation, I was informed that the HR was on leave.
After that, there was no clear communication, only repeated excuses like “the marketing person is on leave” or “someone will connect next week.” Despite multiple follow-ups from my side, I never received a proper update or closure.
If my resume was not suitable or I was not the right candidate, it is the company’s responsibility to communicate that clearly. Candidates follow up because they are genuinely interested in the role and have been approached by the company in the first place.
This kind of unclear and delayed communication reflects poor professionalism and a lack of respect for candidates’ time. This review is based purely on my personal experience with the company.
