The phone call briefly was easy. The in person interview was just filled with people who felt entitled and wanted to try and prove that they were better than you.

I applied online and received an email asking for a phone interview. The phone interview went well and they said they would like to set up another one. We set a date and the day before I get an email asking to reschedule as they are putting a hold on hiring for the role. I tried to follow up a week later only to be told the original person who interviewed me wasn't in charge of the interview process anymore and that they would pass my information along to the person who took over. Sure enough, no response. Extremely unprofessional with no transparency about the hiring process. I recommend taking a look through their social media channels to get a feel for their company culture. It's not very diverse and it's very young. Good if that's what you're looking for, but it seems that the mentorship opportunities aren't there in the same way they would be for a more established company.
