I had my first interaction at the university career fair. I had a brief conversation with a recruiter as they asked me questions about experiences on my resume. I believe I was asked to the next round of interviews because I described my experiences well and used "key" words and phrases like "...resolved the situation by..." and "...addressed the issue by..." I believe this because I have classmates with very similar backgrounds that were not asked to the next round. The formal interview was in the STAR (situation, task, action, resolution) format. There were several questions asked about issues during group projects that had to be answered in this format and we were judged on how well we conformed to the format.
